Okay, so this was fun... Normally, Joe & I are so unbelievably boring about birthdays and holidays for each other. Our usual gifts is "make your life a little easier by not having to buy me a gift". Life is busy and we have so many other people to please, we have had no problem letting that extra stress go for a little while. And we aren't remorseful about it. But this year, we found out our little babysitter had returned from her mission and would be available to babysit the weekend of our anniversary. So we splurged and went to the Zermatt in Midway. It was a win win. The kids got to see their favorite babysitter and Joe and I got a break. I love when things work out.
